New Arrivals

By Eric

After working my way through a mountain of shipping , exportation, importation, legalization, and blah blah blah documents I am pleased to say that we have added a couple of new members to the JDM Legends family.  We picked up a pretty clean 73 TA27 Celica, and another 71 Hakosuka.  I just got them yesterday so I haven’t had much of a chance to go over them too thoroughly yet but so far I like what I see.  We don’t just give them a wash and resell them here, I have to go through our 130 point checklist and make sure everything is up to par.  And if it isn’t we will repair, or replace whatever needs to be to make sure our customers are receiving exactly what they expect from us.

There they are  fresh out of the container, I haven’t even washed them yet.  If you may be interested in either of these fine classics, shoot me an e mail, or give me a call so I can put you on top of the list.  It looks like my busy job, just got a bit busier.  Time to get crackin!!

Check back for updates on these two…..

im interested in the toyota but isnt that if im not mistaken a RA29 ? it is a liftback or are they called something else from Japan?

ok my mistake you learn something everyday. Guess I dont know as much much as I thought I did about these J-tins. It would be great to One of Japans first liftbacks and to Have my 76 US ra 29 liftback

Yea, as I’m sure you now already know, the earlier JDM liftbacks with the 1.6L 2T-G are referred to as TA27’s, and the later ones with the 1.8L 18R-G motors are referred to as RA28’s. It took me a little while to get it figured out as well, the Celicas have a lot of chassis numbers…

awesomeness!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Eric, you need any help for the tear down, if any, I’m available mostly all day Sat. and Sun. I’ll work for minimum wage…..!?! I’m not much of a master mechanic/fabracator. But I can help tear down and build if you need the extra hand. Let me know. I love these J-tins and JDM’S!!!!!!!

No, I need to come to to Hawaii and hang out with you ;) Ha!, seriously though if you ever find yourself remotely close you are more than welcome!!

I know right!? Just finding those tailights on their own is no easy task, trust me :)

As soon as we can afford to hire some extra help, you will be on top of the list….
