Recently I’ve had the pleasure of meeting a awesome videographer by the name of Josh Clason that just so happens to be local to SLC. At first when he contacted me about shooting a video for the shop I was like uhhhh…. okay, this is probably someones high school film production project or whatever but then he sent me a link to a few of his videos and right away I knew this was something we needed to be involved in. This one in particular really blew me away…
Cool stuff huh? And filmed right in my backyard no less….. Over the last couple of months I have been meeting with Josh after hours here at the shop and I think he said he now has something like 40G of footage he has to go through and edit. All of the cars we have here at JDM Legends should be getting a little love.
And the Kenmeri as well…. It’s pretty cool to see what this guy can do on a small budget with very little equipment and a little ingenuity.
And just this last weekend we finished up the shoot with some rolling shots of a few cars together. Ryan also brought his beautiful 4 door Hakosuka that has recently been made even more appealing with a substantial drop courtesy of some coilovers and camber plates from Gabe at Techno Toy Tuning.
Needless to say I am super excited to see Josh’s take on JDM Legends and I can’t wait to see the final cut. As soon as he gets the video to me you will definitely see it here. For addition information on Josh and his work, check out his site here : Josh Clason Films
And by the way, I’m headed out to California Speedway this weekend with Cobb Tuning Motorsports so if any of you are in the area make sure to stop by and say hi.
